In 2005, Pastor Smith launched Making A Difference (M.A.D.) ministries; an outreach ministry that was dedicated to improving the lives of people from various walks of life. This is where he also founded the God Is...Movement, which is a witness tool for the believers. Pastor Smith is dedicated to bringing the message of our Lord and Saviour to the masses.
His sincere desire to bring men and women, boys and girls to Christ is evident in all that he does. Most especially when bringing the word of God to God’s people. Pastor Smith was awarded the Harry Hoosier Preaching Award for demonstrating excellence in preaching. This honor was bestowed upon him by Asbury Theological Seminary in 2015.

Reverend Octavius L. Smith is a wonderful reflection of this adage.
A native of Central Florida, Pastor Smith was educated through the Orange County Public School System. He continued his studies and earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Management and Marketing. Additionally, Pastor Smith obtained his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2015.
Upon answering God’s call to ministry in 1999, he became the sexton at Mount Olive A.M.E. Church in Orlando, FL and was responsible for cleaning the church. It was during this time that Pastor Smith really began to learn what being a servant meant. God enabled him to humble himself and to discern between church and street culture as well as evaluate their similarities.
This new found outlook propelled him into his next ministry in the harvest field. Beginning as a youth minister where he joyously planted and cultivated the seeds of Christianity into the youth, he was soon called to yet another ministry. One that would require even more of him. A ministry that was on a different level, yet maintained the same message; God is Everything!
